Tennessee Rugby has enjoyed enormous success over the past 50 years thanks to a dedicated group of players, coaches, and alumni. It is time to look to the next 50 years to see what the rugby program at the University of Tennessee will need to continue to be one of the top collegiate club rugby programs in the country.
We have been blessed by so many people who made Tennessee Rugby one of the most successful collegiate rugby clubs in the country. From the men who started our club more than fifty years ago, to the devoted Old Boys near and far who continue to stay in touch and support our efforts, to the parents and families who make their sons’ participation in rugby possible – countless people have made our club one of the best in the country.
Tennessee Rugby has embarked on an ambitious campaign to raise $750,000 in 5 years through the Robertson Endowment. Proceeds of this endowment will be used to fund coaching and staff positions for UT Rugby and help ensure the continuity of success for the program.
With the assistance of the University of Tennessee Foundation and the Office of Development, the campaign was launch at the beginning of 2022. With the public announcement, the campaign is well on its way to achieving the goal of securing a strong future for rugby at the University of Tennessee. As of today, we have received pledges totaling over $475,000.
Later this week the Head Coach and Program Manager positions will be announced with the Head Coach position posted with the university. Once the Head Coach is hired, Marty Bradley will assume the role of Director of Rugby to continue to lead the program alongside the many Volunteers that have helped make UT Rugby one of the premier collegiate rugby clubs in the country.
Feel free to contact Marty Bradley at email@example.com or 865.805.5029 or any member of the Volunteer Rugby Foundation Board of Directors with any questions you have.
